Dr. Magdalena Mosakowska studiowała na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie na wydziale
malarstwa pod kierunkiem prof. Rajmunda Ziemskiego. Otrzymała stypendium Ministra Kultury i
Dziedzictwa Narodowego w 2006 roku. W 2016 roku obroniła pracę doktorską Architektura obrazuna
Uniwersytecie Jana Kochanowskiego w Kielcach pod kierunkiem prof. zw. dr. hab. Wiesława Łuczaja.
Jest artystką wizualną. Obszarem jej zainteresowań jest iluzja przestrzeni, do uzyskania której dąży
za pomocą różnorodnych działań plastycznych. W swojej twórczości łączy temat miasta, jego obraz
sfotografowany i komputerowo przekształcony z materią tradycyjnego malarstwa. Posługuje się
językiem geometrii i używa perspektywylinearnej do uzyskania przestrzeni na płaszczyźnie. W efekcie
powstająkompozycje abstrakcyjno – geometryczne o charakterze industrialnym. W ostatnich
latach w jej twórczości pojawiły się obrazy składające się z modułów. Dowolny układ modułów daje
możliwość coraz to nowycharanżacji przestrzeni galeryjnej atym samym tworzenie złudzenia nowej
przestrzeni - innej rzeczywistości i nowych emocji. Przez syntezę dąży do doskonałości formy. W
efekcie zatraca kontakt z pierwotną inspiracją na rzecz jednoznaczności przekazu.

Magdalena Mossakowska, PhD - studied at the Faculty of Painting, headed by professor Rajmund
Ziemski the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 2006 the artist was awarded scholarship by the
Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Mosakowska defended her PhD thesis Architecture of
image under the direction of Wiesław Łuczaj, PhD, ProfTit.
Mossakowska is a visual artist. Her area of interest is the illusion of space, which she aims to achieve
through various artistic activities. In her work she combines the theme of the city, its photographed
and digitally transformed image, with the matter/entity of traditional painting. The artist uses the
language of geometry and linear perspective to obtain and convey space on the plane. The result of
such activities are abstract and geometric compositions with industrial edge. In recent years,
Mossakowska’s artwork incorporated paintings consisting of modules. Any arrangement of the
abovementioned modules gives the opportunity to constantly arrange gallery space, rearrange it
anew and thus create the illusion of a new space - a different reality evoking new emotions.
Mossakowska’s artwork strives for perfection of form through synthesis. As a result, it moves away
from the original inspiration driving toward clarity andequivalence of the message.

Sie ist bildende KÜnstlerin. Ihr Interessensgebiet ist die Illusion von Raum, die sie durch
verschiedene kÜnstlerische Aktivitäten erreichen will.
